Aloha,

During the Summer of 2008, our kids will be traveling to Cooperstown, New York to participate in one of the most exciting youth baseball tournaments. Our team, the Hawaii Stingrays will be one of hundred selected teams to participate in Cooperstowns Dreams Park Baseball Tournament. Teams from all over the globe will be participating in this Ultimate baseball arena. This experience will be one that each player and their families will treasure for a lifetime.

We will be representing Hawaii as we participate in this tournament. We hope to be able to make our families, friends and all of Hawaii proud. This endeavor will be a wondrous journey for our kids. The cost to participate in this tournament will be one that the parents will work hard to reach.

During the next two years our team will be doing the Car washes, Midweek Deliveries, Selling brownies, working at Stan Sheriff and numerous other fundraising activities to help with the cost. We hope that our friends and our community will help our team as we strive to reach our goal of going to the Cooperstown Tournament.

We need your help to make our kids dreams come true. We are asking for donations for our team. One of our fundraising activities is a get together at the East Side Grill. The exact date has not been formalize but we definitely want to share this experience with our friends. We will have an auction, door prizes and raffles. We would greatly appreciate any donations for our auction, door prizes and our raffle. In order to have a successful outing, having great prizes is a must. Gift Certificates or items from your business would be deeply appreciated.

If you prefer, a straight donation to our cause, will further help us in our journey to Cooperstown. We have a ways to go to and with your support, Hawaii will be able to help each child get closer to Cooperstown.

We are also looking for sponsors for our team. We will need to provide the players uniforms, team jackets, equipment bags, team banners and other items. Our sponsors will be identified as part of our team. Our sponsor’s names will be on our banners, team jackets and equipment bags. They will play a big part in helping our team. We will be representing Hawaii and want to represent our beautiful state proudly.

Our team is a non-profit organization and we have a non-profit account, which your business can use for tax purposes. All funds raised will be used for the team. Every dollar our team raises bring each player closer to their goal. We would like you to be a part of this special team.
